China’s experience for Bihar; CM to embark on 6-days visit to ‘Dragon’s land’


CM TO ATTEND MANY SEMINARS
NITISH WILL ALSO VISIT IRRIGATION & POWER PROJECTS
June 7, 2011, Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is slated to visit People’s Republic of China this month.
An official from the Chief Minister secretariat confirmed the news that the CM has accepted the Chinese ambassador’s request to visit China and has got the necessary clearance from ministry of external affairs.
The visit will be a six days affair, starting on 12th of June and ending on 18th. He is planned to attend a number of seminars in cities like Shanghai and Beijing during his visit. Kumar will also be visiting various projects related to irrigation and power in that country.
Accompanying him on the visit will be water resource minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, tourism minister Sunil Kumar Pintu, Development commissioner K.C. Saha, secretary to the C.M.  S.Siddharth and Satish Chandra.

Two non-govt. members, Chairman of Bihar Chamber of Commerce Mr. O.P. Saha and Chairman of Bihar Industrial Council S.P. Sinha will also be accompanying the Chief Minister on their own expenses.
It is worth mentioning that the C.M. under took a same kind of visit to the neighboring Bhutan last month.
